Numbers for July (sheesh, it's August!):

Joanne: 586
RPG journals: 14,173
Marie: 5,732
Other Fiction: 1,200

Total: 21,691

Best numbers since I started keeping track in May. Also been keeping track of markets better than I probably every have. Lucinda and Marie are both out, as well as JoanneTheShortStory.

Don't know if I'm going to go play disc tonight. My body is a bit tired. If I do, that's a firm 6 EUs for the week and I don't have to worry about doing a tape tomorrow.

Place is a mess. Just stuff everywhere. My cleaning Monday didn't include any 'practical' cleaning. The top of the fridge, the window sill, the edge of the desk are dirt free (or were), but there's laundry, dishes, displaced CDs. I still haven't played with my CD writer again.

Picked up used d20 Deadlands last night. Eric wants to bring Edgar over to that setting, at least for a fun little break. I don't know what I think about that idea. It probably wouldn't work well for Chris' priest character. And I worry that it's just going to be a cheesey side trek. It would be fun though, I just need to get myself in that frame of mind. I wish I could tie it to what I have going on. Well, maybe I can... Hmm... It's a thought, substituting out what I had going on for some Deadlands stuff. I'm sure Eric will continue to pitch the idea.

I feel wilted and oily. It's not terribly hot, but just enough that I'm constantly covered in a sticky sheen.

Need to get up. Need to write. Need to read more Deadlands. Need to clean. Need to, need to, need to.

Watching a show about the "behind the scenes" of a fancy New York restaurant. While making beef Frito pie.

Stayed home from disc. Did some weights. Showered my despised Yafa blocks as well as dusted and reorganized. One day I will have an office and shelves and a desk where the keyboard is at the right level. Doing dishes.

I took a fifteen minute nap at a quarter after five and woke up a different woman. I'll probably end up staying up tonight, filing and doing bills and such. Maybe more Deadlands or Luk. Maybe I'll just read one of the many books I've recently started: Gaiman and Pratchett's Good Omens, Richard Laymon's Night in Lonesome October, William Goldman's Brothers, and of course Martin's Storm of Swords. I didn't know what I was in the mood for, so I started them all and they've all caught my attention. Before that nothing was working for me.
